Realty San Antonio Agents Give Back to PT50

Realty San Antonio agents and staff rolled up their sleeves at the Platinum Top 50 San Antonio Day of Service Event on Friday, March,19. The team joined over 100 colleagues in the real estate community at the San Antonio Food Bank which provides food assistance to over 120,000 individuals weekly.

The Realty San Antonio Team made a huge impact by sorting and packing items in the warehouse, assisting in the Urban Gardens, and helping out in the community kitchen.

Due to COVID-19 and the unprecedented winter storms, food insecurity is at an all-time high, and families in San Antonio are in need of additional resources. Mario Obledo, Government & Public Affairs Chief at San Antonio Food Bank stated, “The Urban Farm consists of nearly 30 acres of growing crops that are critical to the San Antonio community. With only 6 members of the San Antonio Food Bank maintaining the farm, we heavily rely on the help of volunteers to help harvest and upkeep the land.” 

As we begin to transition to better days, we all must remember that many people in our community still need our help and support.
