This pie shop was founded in the owner’s grandmother’s kitchen, so it's sure to be great! Scott and Meredith Layton entered the bakery business with The Cupcakery in 2007 as a licensed location of Meredith’s sister’s shop. It didn’t take long for them to realize that they loved the baking industry and the freedom of owning their own business. They honor their family recipes and traditional baking methods with great pride.

 

Bird Bakery

Founded by Elizabeth Chambers in 2012, Bird Bakery prides itself on its confections being baked fresh every day with the finest ingredients. In addition to various delectable desserts, they have in-house mini pies with flavors such as honey cheesecake, spiced buttermilk, chocolate pecan, and so much more. If you’re craving something larger, they make 9-inch pies in any of their flavors by special order.

 

Williams Confectionery Crafts

Located in Live Oak, Williams Confectionery Crafts is home to old-fashioned baked goods from the heart of Joyce Williams. Tootie began baking and selling pies in her home in the early 1980s. Over the years, she perfected her recipes and became famous for selling hundreds of her six-pound Original Apple Pies at her little shop in Medina, Texas. In 2005, she moved to Boerne, Texas.
