Cara's roots have been firmly planted in Austin, Texas since 1977, when she said, "I love this city!" With so much history, diverse cultures, beautiful rolling landscapes, lakes, live music, and sunshine, it's no wonder people move here; they fall in love and never leave. From 1 year of age, Cara was influenced by her mother's real estate practice. "My mom loves telling the story of how she used to take my sister and I along in her car to show homes to her clients." These experiences, combined with Cara's background in technology sales and study of design at the University of Texas, compelled her to pursue a real estate career. Cara's ambition from the start was to "not be" a typical, ordinary, mediocre real estate agent.
