PABST BREWING CULTURE PARK

San Antonio Report wrote in 2020 that the company was moving to San Antonio. Since then, the company has announced that they are planning a campaign to spotlight San Antonio's artistic and cultural offerings. The development will go into an existing warehouse at the corner of Avenue B and 6th Street, and it will be a space for San Antonio creatives. The project has been delayed, but it will feature a gallery, speakeasy-style bar, BMX bike track, indoor skate park, and retail shops.

According to the San Antonio Report, the city approved a property tax relief for the company to open their North American headquarters in East San Antonio. The company is one of Tesla’s suppliers, so their location in San Antonio will support the Tesla factory in Austin. The exact location and timeline are to be determined, but it’s expected to create at least 50 new jobs.

The San Antonio Spurs broke ground in November 2021 on The Rock at La Cantera. The project is a human performance campus including a research center, a 22-acre park, and space for medical, hospitality, and commercial use. The multi-phase $500 million legacy project will extend across 45 acres, and it is still in phase one. There is no completion date yet as the project evolves, but the website features an artist's rendering of what it is expected to look like.
HEMISFAIR’S CIVIC PARK

The city broke ground on Hemisfair's Civic Park in January of 2022. The project is expected to finish in 2023. The plan is for a beautiful urban green space in the heart of San Antonio. From culinary festivals to live music, the developers envision a lively event space.

The owners of the Pearl Brewery in San Antonio have big plans for the historic Samuels Glass building. They want to make the warehouse into a market for restaurants, offices, and storage for Pearl operations. There is no time frame currently, but the owners of the Pearl, Rio Perla, submitted documents in 2021 to get it put in the Historic Design Review, which would allow them building and tax breaks.
