Realty San Antonio Launches Its 1st Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio Home Build
Realty San Antonio agents recently volunteered 100 hours to help complete a Habitat for Humanity home build.

On Friday, November 5, Realty San Antonio launched its 1st Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio home build. Realty San Antonio agents donated $10,000 and 100 volunteer hours to help complete the Musavi Family’s new home. The Musavis have been waiting, “a very long time,” to become homeowners and they are excited for the growth and stability that their new home will offer them and their three young children.
“Allah, Razia, and their three boys have been waiting a long time to own their own home,” said Yvette Flores, Realty San Antonio co-founder, “and it’s an honor for our team to help them to finally begin this exciting new chapter.” Flores also recalled how important the stability and safety of her own childhood home were for her overall development, “I grew up in a home no bigger than a typical 3 bedroom Habitat home but my mom knew that having a home for her daughters would be the biggest constant in their lives — bringing safety, security, and community.”

“From a young age, our mother instilled in us the value of giving back and helping people in need,” said Marisa Jackson, Realty San Antonio Agent Success Manager and Flores’s sister. Jackson also pointed out that for many underserved families in the community, nonprofits like Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio are critical to filling in the gaps when it comes to essential services and resources.
“These non-profits,” Jackson went on to explain, “[therefore] need all the support they can get from those who have the resources in our community.”
