Realty San Antonio Donates $15K to San Antonio Habitat for Humanity

On Friday, November 4, Realty San Antonio agents and staff gathered for their 2nd Annual San Antonio Habitat for Humanity home build to build a home for the Flores Family. Realty San Antonio agents donated $10,000 and 105 volunteer hours throughout the build.

The Flores family is thrilled to start building a better future and leave their unaffordable living conditions behind.  Homeowner Angelica Flores said, “We will feel secure in a new and nice neighborhood. With the affordable mortgage payment, it will allow me to go back to school.” Angelica also hopes her new home will allow her to cut back on hours at work and sign her boys up for a sport. “Having this home will make me feel like I achieved something great. We can’t wait to be living in our own home!”

Realty San Antonio co-owner Yvette Flores said, “It is truly an honor to work with such a wonderful affordable housing organization in our hometown. Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity runs deep, and it is our hope to leave a legacy of building alongside a new homeowner for generations to come.”

Realty San Antonio also supported San Antonio Habitat for Humanity at their Taste of Home fundraiser on Wednesday, October 12. The fundraiser brings together top donors and supporters of San Antonio Habitat, with all funds raised going towards building homes in 2023. Realty San Antonio was honored to be invited and pledged $5,000 towards 2023 homes.
